If I have a two phase (production and test) flow over a significant distance, what would be the recommended insulation method/type?

You would need an effective insulation program to avoid hydrate formation. A WET insulation method using Glass Syntactic Polypropylene can be considered for such 2-phase flow. Also, to avoid external corrosion for insulated pipelines, typically, Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) anti-corrosion coating is used in conjunction with insulation coatings.
