SIT requirements are:

  • The objective of SIT is to demonstrate overall system function and operability and to familiarize operations and installation personnel with the equipment.
  • The SIT includes the integration of major subsea components such as trees, production controls, pipeline end manifolds, jumpers, umbilical terminations, etc.
  • The SIT should include verification of ROV operations for connectors, valves, and other sub-assemblies if not already demonstrated.
  • Actual equipment should be used to conduct the SIT.  Replicas or fixtures in place of the actual equipment should not be used.
