What is the recommended spare capacity above the expected load for the power distribution system of all electrical equipment (main and emergency generators, transformers, switchgear, UPS, DC systems, etc.)?

Propose to include power generation equipment sized to provide at least 20% spare capacity above the expected load. The expected load should be defined to include the maximum running load exclusive of stand-by motors. With that said, no design margin is established for the provision of online transfer of the largest motor.
