Riazi-Daubert Methods:

Follwing simplified formula can be used to calculate critical volume of hydrocarbons:

For range C5-C20:

Vc = 1.7842 x 10–4 T2.3829 SG–1.683

For C20 and heavier:

Vc = 6.2 x 1010 x [ exp (-7.58 x 10-3 Tb - 28.5524 x SG + 1.172 x 10-2 Tb SG)] Tb1.20493 SG17.2074 (Use for

where Vc is in cma/mol and Tb is in kelvin.
