What would you recommend for a Fluid Transfer Line between an FPSO and a TLP?

The fluid transfer lines (FTL) are comprised of flexible pipe and should be electrically continuous with the TLWP hull. The FTLs should not be equipped with a dedicated cathodic protection system, but should receive cathodic protection from hull mounted anodes. The flexible pipe supplier should perform potential attenuation calculations to confirm that the entire length of each fluid transfer line should receive adequate cathodic protection from platform hull based anodes. The FTLs should be electrically isolated from the Floating Production Storage Offloading at an above water location. The FTLs should be equipped with a protective sheath for corrosion control and mechanical protection. The control umbilical, although not requiring cathodic protection should drain cathodic protection current from the platform hull anodes. The umbilical should be protected from corrosion by an outer sheath and through use of corrosion resistant alloys (CRA). The hull cathodic protection design should include provisions for current drain to the control umbilical.
