To further what "lilianlope" already provided, the purposes of the supply chain management plan are namely:

  • To acquire quality of products, materials, and equipment through establishment of supply chain processes and practices consistent with the contractor’s project quality management system and procedures and the contractor’s general Quality Management System.
  • To verify that contractor’s acquisition and management of products, materials, and equipment comply with owner company’s requirements.
