The Role:

You will be responsible for all new tenders and project coordination right up to the contract being awarded

  • Take receipt of tender documentation and log into Dynamics
  • Attend, where requested client tender / sales meetings
  • Provide a financial and commercial input into the tender / quotation
  • Attend in-house handover, pre-contract meetings and receive all tender information from sales team
  • Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to aid tender preparation
  • Discuss tender documents/requirements with all departments where needed, engineering, QESH, Legal, Credit Control, Operations etc ensure set deadlines for those departments to present supporting information you need to enable completion of quotation and client deadlines are met

About you: 

  • Experience in a similar Tendering role that required organising a team, together with a strong customer and commercial focus
  • A good knowledge of all aspects of Quality, Health and Safety 
  • Excellent Stakeholder management skills
  • Influencing and persuasion skills
  • Process information quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to work within a demanding environment
  • Proficient in dynamics
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
