• What does a Technical Delivery Engineer do?
    The Technical Delivery Engineer’s role is to manage and oversee the technical aspects of our customer delivery and data implementation projects to both the marine and energy industries on a global basis. We deliver solutions that collect data from various systems, whether onboard vessels or from power plants, and generate insights to assist customer decision-making. The solutions comprise of both hardware and software.
    Your key responsibilities will include:
    · Planning and coordinating multiple installation projects with the customers’ technical team, our delivery partners and our own delivery team.
    · Managing the technical issues of customer delivery projects including outlining the technical architecture, defining technical components, reviewing technical drawings and instructing our commissioning engineers before installations.
    · Supporting and helping to coordinate the activities within the team.
    · Remotely supporting our Commissioning Engineers while they are on-site.
    · Developing and documenting the technical aspects of the delivery processes.
    What kind of skills does a Technical Delivery Engineer need?
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in automation, electricity or equivalent
    · Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical commissioning in similar data collection systems
    · Experience in bash or other shells
    · Understanding of serial line protocols like NMEA and Modbus
    · Good knowledge in TCP/IP and other networking protocols as well as cyber security
    · Experience in using CAD systems
    · Understanding in electrical circuits and basic skills in electric physics
    · Capability to manage multiple customer delivery projects and genuine teamwork skills
    · Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Fluent spoken English and writing skills is a must, experience of working in the marine or energy industries is highly appreciated.
