Essential Technical:

  • Recognized University degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the engineering and construction industry. Experience must be related to Construction management, quality construction work and auditing.
  • Requires technical knowledge of Quality Assurance principles and their application to the engineering, procurement & construction processes.
  • Experience with developing training materials, conducting training especially in soft skills, quality audits/ surveillances.

Job Description:

  • Prepares procedures required for implementing the project's quality program.
  • Manages the Quality Assurance procedures and quality programs.
  • Performs and leads internal and external Quality Assurance program, audits and surveillance, prepares reports, and performs follow-up verifications. Also, Performs reviews of Quality Assurance programs submitted by contractors and make recommendations with reference to approvals etc.
  • Conducts training on topics related to Quality Assurance and other quality-related activities as directed.
  • Trains, mentors, and provides on-the-job training to contractor QAEs.
  • May participate in the bid evaluation & selection process including performing quality assessments of contractor/supplier prior to and after award.
  • Provides advice and assistance to Contractors' regarding achievement of the Customer's quality objectives.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Field Engineer manager.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to Saudi Engineers.
