Position Requirements:

  • Handle all assigned activities at customer location. This includes all correspondences, open orders, drawings, recommendations, proposals, failure analysis, engineering/service support, provision of trainings, closing active quotations, coordination activities and establishment of KPIs.
  • Provide timely reports to management and customer on KPIs and other correspondence as necessary to manage the overall health of the customer partnership.
  • Make appropriate selection of seals and support systems including design features and materials of construction based on knowledge of Flowserve product lines, specified operating conditions, rotating equipment specification and customer requirements.
  • Work with workshop and plant personnel to track customer orders and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Provide field support through assembly/disassembly and installation of seals.

Preferences:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
  • To ideally come in with 2 years of customer contact experience relating to the troubleshooting and design development for customer requirements.
  • This position is also open to fresh graduates holding either a diploma or a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Candidates should ideally be experienced in mechanical seals/Pumps or relevant rotating equipment.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings with a strong technical background with customer focus.
  • Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft application programs.
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks to produce deliverables.
  • Willing to work onsite in rough environments.
