We are the Innovative Air and Space Division, a rapidly growing business within the Surveillance and Exploration Sector of Jacobs that is leading the design and development of next generation radar systems. Candidate is responsible for the RF transmit/receive chain of microwave radar systems throughout the product life cycle ranging from requirements specification and concept development to component evaluation, system integration and validation. Candidate works with a team of radar subject-matter experts, mechanical designers, and embedded hardware/software developers to develop and evolve high-performance solutions.


-Strong background in microwave RF concepts and applications.
-Familiarity with standard laboratory instrumentation, including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, time domain reflectometers, etc.
-Experience in troubleshooting of electronic and/or RF systems, both in a lab and in the field.
-Must be willing to travel to support radar systems, typically less than 3 weeks annually.
-Bachelors (with 8+ years' overall experience) or Master’s (with 6+ years' overall experience) degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related discipline.
-Familiarity with one or more of the following fields: radar, communications, electronic warfare, and/or SIGINT.
-5+ years’ experience in microwave RF.
-Experience in developing, building, fielding, and/or maintaining radar systems.
-Experience with extremely high performance, wideband, tunable systems.
-Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
