The Resident Resident Civil/Structural Engineer is a construction engineer with strong construction background. Ideal candidate would have experience writing proposals, writing change orders, interpreting building codes and writing white papers, etc.

  • Acts as a primary interface between design engineers, field personnel, and the client to ensure proper project execution
  • Bachelors of Science degree in engineering is required
  • Knowledge of building and design codes, including IBC, IMS, UPC, NFPA, and ASME
  • Prior experience with the Idaho National Laboratory, DOE, and/or Naval Reactors Facility is highly desirable
  • Acts as a technical resource on specifications, codes and standards, design requirements, construction methods, problem resolution, and constructability issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science degree in engineering is required
  • Knowledge of building and design codes, including IBC, IMS, UPC, NFPA, and ASME is preferred
  • USA Citizenship is required
  • 3 or more years of engineering experience is required
  • Person already residing in Southeast Idaho is preferred
  • 5 or more years of experience is preferred
