Required Qualification:

  • Minimum 4 years of direct experience in developing control-oriented models and control systems for practical control problems
  • Strong knowledge in control theory, such as modern control, adaptive control, robust control, nonlinear control, optimal control with outstanding ability to solve practical control problems
  • Strong knowledge in system identification, optimization, and estimation techniques for complex systems
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in the application of Data Analytics including machine learning techniques such as SVM, Neuro Network, Bayes network, preferably with control applications
  • Strong knowledge in frequency-domain analyses including FFT and DFT analyses
  • Proficiency in system simulation packages including, Matlab, Simulink, Simscape and programing tools including C, C++, and Python
  • Experience with DOE and real-time implementation
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI

Desired Qualification:

  • Knowledge in the application of diagnostics/prognostics and model-based health monitoring systems
  • Knowledge and experience in parameter-varying and discrete-time control systems
  • Knowledge and experience in instrumentation and interfacing hardware and software
  • Exposure to software-/hardware-in-the-loop experimentation
  • Demonstrated teamwork, strong communication and analytical skills, and collaborative in complex engineering projects

Education Requirements:

  • Skills acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering and 4 years of related experience. Completion of a master’s degree is preferred
