Your Role

In the role of Project (Mechanical) Engineer you will actively support our project teams during sales and tendering/ design project phases. You will take the lead in designing Sulzer Upstream Systems technology according to client specifications, Sulzer- and Industry standards.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Guiding 3D modeling of separation systems involving skids, piping, vessels, instruments, pumps and other equipment (according project requirements and specifications);
  • Creating of equipment datasheets according project specifications;
  • Occasionally drafting and designing according Process instructions;
  • Leading technical handover to our Global Regions from pre-order phase to order execution phase;
  • Supporting our Sales Department by providing mechanical expertise and knowledge;
  • Supporting our R&D Team in their projects with specific know-how;
  • Continuous improvement of the Mechanical Engineering department, work flows and standardization;

Your Profile

Required Education and Experience

  • BSc in mechanical engineering or other relevant technical education;
  • Sound experience in 3D modelling & drafting;
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Upstream Oil and Gas (or similar) Industry;
  • Experience with Solid works and CADWorx (or other equal 3D drafting software) is preferred;
