Your responsibilities

  • Providing cost-effective execution of Project Deliverables in accordance with Contract Specifications, Business Models, Quality Standards, Schedule and Safety Requirements.
  • Supporting both own team and relevant functional departments (Sales, Applications, Operations, Business Support) in achieving financial business targets.
  • Managing and executing all contracts assigned to you with various deliverables, on time and within budget, accurately forecasting business revenue.
  • Creating and delivering scope-specific work plans and budgets, as well as risk assessments as it pertains to your Engineering Discipline.
  • Providing technical recommendations in the Testing, Installation and Commissioning phases of customer projects in both LV and MV products.
  • Providing and supporting technical details, costs and deliverables for Sales Proposals.
  • Supporting Project Managers and Project Lead Engineers in technical reviews and discussions with Customers, Partners, Subcontractors and Vendors.
  • Supporting Contract Managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards.
  • Helping customers resolve technical issues both remotely and on domestic / international customer sites.
  • Developing your Leadership and Communication skills by working with entry-level Engineers, Technicians and Support Teams.
  • Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.

Your background

  • Permanent Residency in Australia.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Computer / Mechatronic Engineering or similar field.
  • 2 years’ or more experience in relevant field, working as a Project Engineer or similar.
  • Familiarization with various ranges of Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Product Portfolio.
  • Positive, confident and adaptive to a dynamic team, whilst open to constructive feedback and willingness to change behavioral practices and/or suggest improvements to business / tools and process gaps.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools.
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
