• Complete mass and energy balance, block flow diagram, utility data, investment estimation as basic design data for new projects based on lab data or technical document.
  • Contribute to the development of P&IDs and complete the key equipment selection.
  • Provide support in design, construction, and commissioning stages.
  • Provide trouble shooting support after start-up.
  • Establish direct continuous flow of communication among local and global team regarding engineering matters.
  • Facilitate implementation of recommendations from Global tech.
  • Plan, co-ordinate, schedule and audit changes of process, facilities, new installations, and projects.
  • Directly responsible for installation and facilities upgrade to meet established objectives in safety, quality, production, and cost.
  • Work with manufacturing and R&D on leading process optimization through formulation/process improvements.
  • Evaluates and solves technical problems and drives continuous improvement programs across APAC

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, majoring in chemical engineering, organic chemical engineering, or refinery chemical engineering.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in the field of the process technology on chemical engineering, agricultural chemical production, pharmaceutical engineering, or the project process design will be a plus.
  • Skilled in continuous improvement and detailed economic analysis
  • Skilled in data management and organization
  • Monitoring of process performance and reporting
  • Skilled in working with external partners for manufacture of chemical products
  • Good verbal and written capability in English.
  • Good computer application skill is necessary.
  • Good communication skill and team work.
  • Acceptable to often travel in AP region. (30 to 40% of time).
  • Should be a self-starter.
