ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare, analyze and recommend business plans, economic evaluations, production forecasts, monthly outlooks, expense forecasts, AFE preparation, and capital requirements
  • Support asset and operational teams with evaluation of development, facilities, operations, reserves and other projects
  • Ensure that reservoir development, operations, and facilities activities are fully integrated
  • Coordinate Lease Operating Committee meetings and activities
  • Drive continuous improvement and increased efficiency in planning related activities

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering or similar

Professional/Technical Knowledge:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of total experience in the Oil & Gas Industry

Professional/Technical Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications : N/A

Skills & Competencies:

  • Understanding of petroleum economics and financial metrics
  • Understanding of industry reserve reporting, booking practices
  • Passion for working with diverse teams at various levels of responsibility driving business results
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and computer skills Must be self-motivated and adaptable, with strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience with Spotfire and Peep Preferred
