Key Responsibilities

  • Translate customer requirements to test requirements
  • Direct the preparation of the EMC Control Plan
  • Direct the preparation of the EMC Test Plan/Procedure/Report
  • Direct the EMC test effort
  • Establish new lab process methodologies
  • Manage lab training, estimates, budgets and schedules
  • Participate in failure troubleshooting and debug efforts

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or Engineering
  • 10 years of directly related work experience in Electromagnetic Effects testing


  • Ability to gain security clearance
  • Working knowledge of aero commercial (Boeing, Airbus, other), military, or space EMI/EMC test specifications - RTCA DO-160 and/or MIL-STD 461/464/704
  • Self-starter, versatile, problem solver, and have a willingness to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to locations within the corporation to assist in troubleshooting efforts
  • Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information/concepts
