Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collect and Analyse project data and present for Senior Project Management review
  • Project Planning, Scheduling activities using Primavera Planning software
  • Prepare Project cost and schedule progress reports
  • Prepare budgets, forecasting using cost engineering principles such as work breakdown structure, earned value, contingency allocation including Cost Controls
  • Function in an advisory role to Project Management and generate alerts involving issues with cost overruns/ schedule slippages
  • Plan activities during Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases
  • Critically examine schedules from Contractors and provide support to Project Management
  • Lead, guide and mentor other Project Controls Engineers
  • Collaborate with Contractors to collect Data
  • Responsible for managing engineering project data and provide insightful reports to senior management for decision making
  • Coordinate with contractors/ other sites to get required data
  • In-depth expertise in software like SAP PS Module, Primavera and will need to supervise others in using the same
  • Act as an expert in data management and engineering software usage
  • Control project costs and schedules and raise alerts in case of overruns

Min. Qualifications


  • Degree /Diploma in Engineering

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 7-10 years post qualification functional experience as Project Controls Engineer in reputed Engineering Companies, in areas of cost control, scheduling, construction progress measurement.


  • Knowledge of English, Hindi and one more Indian or foreign language preferred.
