Your job:

  • Support the prototyping and development of digital solutions
  • Develop and implement novel machine learning algorithms for performance/reliability predictions of pumps equipment, as part of our commercial software products
  • Close collaboration across all divisions, especially with the Machine Diagnostics Group
  • Close interaction with external suppliers
  • Deploy analytics code, collect customer data and configure our cloud platforms and databases
  • Support on-demand data analytics and machine learning projects

Your profile:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (Bachelor or Master) with an excellent academic record
  • Excellent implementation and programming skills in one or more languages, preferably Python, R or Matlab in a commercial environment is a must
  • Knowledge about recent advances in mathematical and computational sciences as well as statistical modeling
  • Practical experience in engineering software development using agile development methodology and data analytics
  • Experience with industrial sensor data (preferably in energy, oil and gas areas) is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of design and operation of pumps, compressors and/or other rotating equipment is highly desired
  • A strong interest and curiosity for Digital Transformation in industrial business and technology environments
  • High integrity, pragmatism and a 'can do ' attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German would be an asset
