The Role:

You will provide efficient and cost-effective maintenance, installation and commissioning service to the Service Centre to ensure site installastions are achieved to the required standards, time, costs and customer satisfaction. Working on compressors, small to medium sized steam turbines and pumps. Main activities include:

  • Being the first point of contact for allocated customers in respect of any issues relating to field services whilst on site
  • Provide continuous improvement in installation and commissioning activities to minimise warranty issues
  • Undertake market/competitor intelligence activities to maximise opportunities for the business
  • Develop and maintain good and effective relationships with clients to optimise customer satisfaction
  • Leading the Field Service Technicians team effectively and supervising customers Technicians
  • Compilation of site reports on a weekly basis and on close-out
  • Proactively engage and support company initiatives designed to promote a culture of safe working, environmental protection and continual improvement.

About you:

  • Engineering apprenticeship or trained in rotating machinery along with significant experience
  • Ideally a HNC in an engineering discipline
  • Experience of assembly, operation, testing of pumps and associated rotating equipment
  • Experience of installation and commissioning activity within a contracting environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational and supervisory skills
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Full and valid driving license is essential
