John Zink is looking for a motivated and self-driven Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our team in Tulsa, OK! The successful candidate should possess strong technical skills as well as excellent communication skills. Previous experience in the chemical or oil/gas processing market is highly desirable.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Design the BMS (Burner Management System) for thermal oxidizer systems
  • Specify Valves and Instrumentation
  • Provide expertise/support on process control for thermal oxidizer systems
  • Program PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems
  • Design HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems
  • Prepare documentation such as process control narratives, cause-and-effect matrices, input/output lists, instrument lists, alarm/setpoint lists & process logic diagrams

What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Instrumentation and Controls engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering OR 5+ years of engineering equivalent
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience of Instrumentation and Controls Engineering in an    Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical industry
  • Experience with combustion equipment
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
