Duties & Responsibilities


  • Works closely with the Business Development and Project Managers to breakout scope to be used at the initial stage of WBS development.
  • Facilitates detail plan development sessions with Project Team in initial phase of Projects, then prepares documents and distributes the formal Project Execution Plan to all stakeholders.
  • Manages the on-going maintenance and tracking of each Project phase against Plan and against Schedule and facilitates regular plan and schedule reviews with each Project Team.
  • Works closely with each Project Manager to provide regular Project plan and schedule updates, and to modify plans and schedules as needed to accommodate changes to scope, circumstances or strategies.
  • Works closely with Scheduler to develop a schedule-based resource requirements / allocation plan, and provides resource allocation information and updates to the Project Management, Production and Installation team leaders for resource planning and projected staffing requirements.
  • Utilizes project plans, schedules and resource projections to provide input to Project Managers for use in Estimate to complete (ETC) forecasting and estimating.
  • Review and analyze historical project data and schedules, as well as adopted planning and scheduling tools to prepare high level plans, schedules and estimates for all new projects being proposed.
  • Develop project performance metrics to be communicated to the team throughout the life of the project. Utilizes quantitative methods to measure intangibles.
  • Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards
  • Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished product.


  • Support project meetings, IPT and management meetings to communicate risk and mitigate process escapes and inefficiency in the existing OES processes that will affect the customer and OES
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and experience applying them to a project. Assignments completed towards a PMP designation would be an asset.
  • General knowledge of project management procedures
  • Detail oriented with good analytical capabilities. Experience gathering and reconciling cost and schedule data, identifying trends and anomalies, and recommending required actions.
  • Reliable team player, with good time-management, problem-solving and organizational skills. Has a good attendance record, an ability to plan effectively and a good track record for meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with positive attitude. Willing to learn new skills, share experiences and take on roles of increasing responsibility. Is comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that will, at times, require working extended hours.

  • Ability to both understand and be understood by different audiences. This includes written and verbal communication in both formal and informal environments
  • Establish internal/external audit plans, review results, and coordinate resolution through follow-up activities
  • Support on-the-job training and education of new OES employees on processes, changes to those processes, and assist implementing new ideas



  • 2 - 5 years' relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering


  • Experience with projects, specifically within the theme park/entertainment industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge and application of Lean Principles.
  • Knowledge and application of Six Sigma Principles.
  • Candidate will have to perform in an ISO-9000 rated company in a rapidly changing and demanding atmosphere.
  • Experience in improvement efforts in manufacturing and office environments.
