Missions and Responsibilities

  1. Support ALat Project Managers for the technical execution of Projects during development/engineering phase:
  • Administration of projects, permitting activities
  • Engineering Documentation development, in particular for Electrical and Instrumentation/Process Control
  • Participation to design reviews
  • Technical clarification with Vendors for the deveopment of new solutions, in particular for Electrical and Instrumentation/Process Control
  • participate in the development of pre-commissioning / commissioning procedures, operations manual

2 Leading installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities with the support of the ALat Construction & Commissioning Manager or his site representative:

  • In charge of the Safety during the installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning (JHA, permit to work, co-activity management)
  • supervise the installation works (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumenation)
  • plan and manages necessary tools, commissioning spares, utilities and consumables
  • prepare the pre-commissioning / commissioning schedule in coordination with installation company
  • prepare and manage the RFSR at Site (Ready For Start-Up Review)
  • perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities (with support of Vendor / installation company when necessary)
  • monitor installation quality and manages punch list until completion to obtain certificate of Acceptance
  • train technicians/operators about Plant maintenance/operation
  • participate to REX (Return on Experience) as part of continuous improvement process

  1. Lead maintenance activities and after-sales support (trouble shooting) as per AL Group guideline/policy under supervision of the Engineering Manager.
  • Communication with AL Engineering/Maintenance organization overseas
  • prepare maintenance technical offer and estimation
  • plan and perform maintenance activities safely with support of installation company / Vendors when necessary
