Overview / Responsibilities

  • Coordinating definition of all the project technical requirements
  • Preparing SOW and Basis of Design for contractors and monitoring progress and preparation of deliverables
  • Review deliverables produced by Engineering & Procurement Contractors
  • Define and evaluate DS, TBE, requisitions relevant to material and equipment necessary to fulfill the activity
  • Defining and coordination interfaces with EP Facilities and new installations, optimizing installation and construction schedule, as well as minimizing cost and safety risks
  • Writing and/or providing technical input into feasibility studies, functional specifications, and Basis of Design for production and processing facilities
  • Participating in process safety reviews activities
  • Contributing to a database of size, weight, cost and delivery time of major equipment and packages associated with offshore and coastal/port facilities
  • Reviewing and keeping updated, the project Basis of Design/ Statement of Requirements for the relevant discipline, including collation and analysis of relevant data of NCOC
  • To ensure that all opportunities offered by introduction of new technologies are pursued and evaluated.
  • To ensure that lessons learned from operations and activities performed and all experience gained in the relevant discipline is valued and capitalized

Skills / Qualifications

  • Degree BSc or equivalent level in Engineering
  • Demonstrable experience (min. 6-8 years) and proven track record in oil & gas facilities or marine, coastal, navigation, hydraulic installations
  • Previous experience and familiarity with RoK and/ or other Caspian projects and marine projects
  • Fluent written and spoken English
