*Marine Engineer

What you will be doing

  • Engineering support of marine terminal facilities including:

Structural Design

Fendering and Mooring

Fire Protection

Shore Protection and Dredging

Marine terminal surveys

  • Develop strategies for marine terminal structures and equipment to define potential failure mechanisms and identify risks and consequences

What you should have

  • Civil / Structural Engineering degree or higher
  • Knowledge of industry guidelines for marine terminals (OCIMF and PIANC) and structural design of marine facilities
  • Experience in performing mooring analysis and fender design

** Equipment Strategy / Reliability Engineer

What you will be doing

  • Develop plans and strategy for base equipment and projects including technical specifications
  • Drive quality and provide recommendations for equipment reliability using the Swim Lane, CREDO and Credible Failure Mode (CFM) processes

What you should have

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or higher
  • Relevant experience in the upstream, petrochemical, chemical, refinery or similar industry

*** Chemical Engineer

What you will be doing

  • Build technical decision-making process at chemical manufacturing sites, including using models for equipment performance and trend analysis
  • Process monitoring of equipment such as distillation towers, heat exchangers, compressors and furnaces

What you should have

  • Chemical Engineering degree or higher
  • Knowledge or experience in process simulation tools such as PROII or HYSYS
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

****Environmental Engineer

What you will be doing

  • Conduct research & development (R&D) including the evaluation of current environmental technologies and developing new technologies
  • Provide appropriate consultancy for ExxonMobil assets globally in order to comply with environmental laws and regulations
  • Develop capital projects in environmental technology areas including specifying or designing new pollution control facilities (including air quality control, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and waste management)

What you should have

  • Chemical Engineering degree or higher
  • Knowledge or experience in process simulation tools such as PROII or HYSYS

*****Instrumentation / Electrical Engineer

What you will be doing

  • Provide Instrumentation & Control Systems (I&CS) expertise for projects (planning, design, execution, commissioning)
  • Provide assessments and root cause failure analysis, long-term equipment improvement initiatives and analyze the performance data of the site's electrical equipment

What you should have

  • Electrical / Power Engineering degree or higher
  • Experience in I&CS specialty projects or FAT / SAT (factory / site acceptance tests) for new electrical systems

******Safety Relief Engineer

What you will be doing

  • Provide technical safety consultancy for ExxonMobil refineries and chemical plants globally
  • Deliver feasible studies and solutions in the area of process safety

What you should have

  • Chemical Engineering degree or higher
  • Experience in flare modelling / process simulation tools such as Pressure Protection Manager (PPM), Visual Flow, FlareNet, HYSYS or PROII

*******Advanced Control Engineer

What you will be doing

  • Develop and implement basic regulatory and advanced control applications at ExxonMobil’s refineries and chemical sites, especially on Honeywell TDC-3000 and Experion platforms
  • Provide expertise in advanced and multi-variable predictive controls and product blending technologies on refinery process units

What you should have

  • Chemical Engineering degree or higher
  • Knowledge of following computing systems / tools:

AspenTech DMC / other Model Predictive Controls (MPC)

Honeywell / Experion base regulatory control system

Modern programming language (C#, TCL etc.)

********Petroleum Measurement Engineer

What you will be doing

  • Conduct data mining and analysis for oil loss / gain reports for manufacturing facilities, pipelines and production units
  • Facilitate loss investigations including manufacturing plant oil loss, pipeline and terminal gain / loss, production allocation loss and transportation loss (marine, truck, rail)

What you should have

  • Chemical, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering degree or higher
  • Experience in hydrocarbon measurement / metering applications
  • Working knowledge in the application of hydrocarbon and petroleum measurement practices, regulatory and industry standards (e.g. API MPMS, ASTM, AGA, GPA)

**********Control Systems Engineer

What you will be doing

  • Design infrastructure, integrate applications and provide support for a managed set of control systems technologies used at ExxonMobil global manufacturing sites

What you should have

  • Computer Science / IT degree or higher
  • Related experience in AspenTech DMC, ROMeo RTO, Honeywell Uniformance, Bently-Nevada System1 or Honeywell Advanced Alarm Management
