1/Distillation / Hydroprocessing Specialist

(Process Engineering)

What you will be doing:

  • Provide process engineering and technical leadership for the downstream (refinery), chemical and upstream group sites.
  • Support in the installation, commissioning and operation of grassroots or revamped facilities, as well as site turnarounds and startup / shutdown activities.

What you should have

  • A reputable Chemical Engineering degree or higher.
  • Work-related experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical or refining industry.
  • Familiar with skills related to distillation / hydroprocessing (process engineering).

2/Control Systems Engineer

What you will be doing:

  • Design infrastructure, integrate applications and provide support for a managed set of control systems technologies used at manufacturing sites around the world.

What you should have:

  • Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science / IT.
  • Related experience with AspenTech DMC, ROMeo RTO, Honeywell Uniformance, Bently-Nevada System1 or Honeywell Advanced Alarm Management.

3/Application Engineer

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and execute all phases of Alarm Management projects from business case development through commissioning.
  • Provide engineering technical guidance to deploy and sustain Alarm Management applications.

What you should have:

  • Chemical / Electrical Engineering degree or higher.
  • Competency in Alarm Management applications and Honeywell Control Systems (TDC3000 and Experion).
  • Experience in Process Control or Safety System.

4/Licensing Engineer

What you will be doing:

  • Provide global technical consultancy for ExxonMobil technology (eg. catalyst and absorbent) third-party licensees.
  • Develop technical proposals and feasibility studies.

What you should have:

  • Chemical Engineering / Chemistry degree or higher.
  • Experience in Process Design or Technical Service.
  • Fluency in another Asian or European language is an added advantage, but not a pre-requisite.

5/Machinery Engineer

What you will be doing:

  • Provide machinery engineering expertise for modifications / new installations and applications, development of specifications and requirements, design appraisal and support tests and commissioning.

What you should have:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or higher.

6/Instrumentation / Electrical Engineer

What you will be doing:

  • Provide Instrumentation & Control Systems (I&CS) expertise for projects (planning, design, execution, commissioning).
  • Provide assessments and root cause failure analysis, long-term equipment improvement initiatives and analyze the performance data of the site electrical equipment.

What you should have:

  • Electrical / Power Engineering degree or higher.
  • Experience in I&CS specialty projects or FAT (factory acceptance tests) / SAT (site acceptance tests) for new electrical systems.

7/Value Chain Optimization Engineer

What you will be doing:

  • Utilize statistical analysis, machine learning, pattern recognition and data visualization to solve engineering challenges.
  • Provide technical expertise for global ExxonMobil applications using data analytics.

What you should have:

  • Engineering / Science degree or higher.
  • Experience in analytics, data science and able to build models using Python.

8/Equipment Strategy / Reliability Engineer

What you will be doing:

  • Develop Equipment Strategy Development plans for base equipment and projects including technical specifications.
  • Drive quality and provide recommendations using the Swim Lane, CREDO and Credible Failure Mode (CFM) processes.

What you should have:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or higher.
  • Relevant experience in the upstream, petrochemical, chemical or refinery (or a similar industry).

9/Chemical Engineer

What you will be doing:

  • Build technical decision making process at chemical manufacturing sites, including using models for equipment performance trend analysis.
  • Process monitoring of equipment such as distillation towers, heat exchangers, compressors and furnaces.

What you should have:

  • Chemical Engineering degree or higher.
  • Experience in process simulation tools such as PROII or HYSYS.
