  • This position primarily involves the development, verification and sustainment support of downhole dynamics measurement systems. You will be involved in projects from Concept through production and full lifecycle support. The positions will get exposure to the complete lifecycle of the product.   • Perform PCB layout activities and board level design using Altium. Layout of components and signal routing best suited for the application and manage library components for the electrical designs projects.
  • Work often involves analog/digital hardware and embedded firmware support throughout the development stages of the design effort.
  • Position requires knowledge of and exposure to hardware design (boards, harnesses, enclosures, connectors).
  • Perform Cable routing and top level electrical assembly models for board interconnects within the larger system.
  • Contribute to the development of automated test tools such as Labview applications to support sensor and component testing as needed.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and make modification to software and firmware (C\C++), with experience using TI products.
  • Work with laboratory equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters.
  • Determine root cause and fault analysis of tools from the field and laboratory testing.
  • Ensure subsequent design changes are documented and transmitted as required to internal and external resources.
  • Must be able to work as an integral support staff of a larger team and take direction and instructions from Senior Engineer Staff.
  • Some travel to test facilities, suppliers may be required
  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned.

  • 3-5 years of experience as Electrical Engineer Design and PCB Design and layout tools experience
