Assessed Internship Opportunities 2020/2021 – Netherlands
Shell | Netherlands, Multiple Locations
Thank for your interest in applying to a Shell Assessed Internship. You’ll find out what the energy industry is really like, from the inside. We will enable you to get involved in projects/thesis topics that have a real business impact. You’ll receive regular and structured performance evaluations and support from your mentor and direct supervisor. As you'll be assessed entirely on how well you perform during your internship, you could even secure an offer to join Shell full-time when you graduate – without the need for a further interview.
Clicking on the ‘apply’ button below will start your application.
Do not wait for the deadline!
Our 2020 Assessed Internships are open to master students until 31st December 2020. Interns can start throughout the year. As we need time to complete the application process and to find a suitable project, we strongly recommend students to submit their application 3 to 4 months in advance of their preferred starting date.
Preferred area of interest
Based on your interests and skills, we will match you to a suitable and exciting project, so you will not be required to apply for a specific internship position. During the application process you will be asked for your preferred area of interest/topics; you can also express your areas of interest in your cover letter.
Competency-based assessment methodology

- Capacity: We’re looking for people with the intellectual, analytical, and creative ability to learn quickly, identify issues and propose innovative solutions.
- Achievement: We are seeking driven high-achievers full of curiosity, self-confidence and organizational skills.
- Relationship: We need strong communicators who work well within a team, respect others and encourage and support colleagues.
We are looking forward to receiving your application.
