YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Plus minimum 5 years experience with Engineering or facility construction

  • Knowledge of Electric motors, VFD drives, motor control centers, and National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Experienced in system layout, equipment sizing, selection and associated specification write-up
  • Experience in facility construction and contractor coordination
  • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
  • Demonstrated Earned Value Management skills
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety and County or City environmental requirements
  • Familiarity with applicable building codes and standards
  • Ability to make timely decisions with a sense of urgency, even in the face of conflicting data and complex issues
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked or forced by events
