Basic Function

  • The ADTS manages current and prospective end customers, develop sales, create value and grow target products. Meet customer requirement by coordinating the introduction of new products and providing technical service to support the use of existing products.
  • The ADTS support to overall China JV sales of Polyolefins in defined segments and regions, typical coverage of volume ~ 50-200 kt. Support development programs of all JV products in China.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drives for results and achieves technical objectives within timelines e.g. customer approvals, commercialization of products, realization of technical value propositions.
  • To develop and nurture technical relation­ships with customers counterparts, to enhance understanding of user technical feedbacks and adhesion to JV product technical advantages.
  • Approvals of products at new customers with growth opportunities.
  • Introduces new products in conjunction with Customer Management / Business Manager/ Marketing Managers.
  • Ensures a consistent and effective Technical Services and Application Development at customers and make technical recommendations on potential improvements.
  • Helps in closing customer complaints of quality and application timely.
  • Exercise risk managements related to ADTS activities (e.g. technical recommendations), Goal Zero and safety.
  • Respects all policies and procedures and proactively “lives” them.
  • Liaise with Account Managers/Regional Managers, customers, and supply sources to summarize progress and conclusions of sample request

Min. Qualifications


  • University or College Degree in Chemical Engineering , Polymer Science, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering

Work Experience:

  • Industrial experience in sales or technical services, or new business development in Plastics Industry; years of actual industrial experience depends on job grade.


  • Chinese with fluency in Mandarin is a must, good English language skills preferable.
