The Engineering PhD Intern will serve as a member of the Technology Solutions team. The intern will engage in research and development for automation projects that will add value to Georgia Pacific’s manufacturing and operations environment. This role offers the exposure to manufacturing elements such as designing, fabricating, and testing. The intern will coordinate to work closely with key staff members and vendors to develop solutions. They will be responsible for completion of specific milestones throughout the project.

Do you have what it takes?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a PhD degree in Robotics or Automation Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Overall GPA of 2.8 or higher
